Garden's Master Plan A Must

   Late December..... ah. All the gardens are covered with snow. I have taken some walks, the snow is deep and swirling. For a while we will dream of the gardens. I think it is always good to have a master plan.  And this is exactly what I did not do.  When we moved here there were piles of brick everywhere. When I dug in the garden, I found more bricks.  We found a complete walkway around the house bricked but grown over with grass. It is our plan to create a walkway and private garden with these bricks. Now that I have been snowed in this winter, and we have celebrated Christmas with a grandchild, ( Toys and more toys included), our family conversation mentioned building on a dining area or kitchen in which we could stretch out the Amish Oak tabe that can seat 24.  Thankfully, we did not get to lay the brick walkway. I realize now that all that would have to be pulled up and relayed and  this is a job that my back could do without, doing twice!
